About

Jade is a midwestern transplant who once traded lake effect snow for long sunny bike rides.  she worked out of her living room in San francisco and then an eclectic waterfront studio in Oakland, California.  now the even sunnier dry climate of Santa fe has drawn her to her new succulent filled studio in new mexico. Her preferred media range from watercolor to graphite to ink, with a fondness for hot-press paper and minutely tipped pens. She earned her BFA at Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio, and has a lifelong fascination with insects, people, and the details that make up the world around us.
